[Ftffacilitationteam] Montevideo meeting URGENT

Dear Ana,
 
Thanks for this and other notes. I'm glad to see the interest in attending 
the Montevideo meeting, and if perhaps I mentioned it to you verbally and in 
other communications, I'll state my interest in attending the meeting on behalf 
of the FTF.  I think, however, we should try to strategize on how we could 
maximize the participation of the most FTF members either through national 
coalitions or regional.  I think it might be good to propose to schedule a conference 
call (on skype?) with those interested.  If we have more than three slots, we 
should first of all try to see where and how we can fit all.  If we can't 
solve this then we should discuss participation.  At the moment we have three 
interested so it may not come to that.  If we do have a call, I would propose 
Wednesday since I have a mobilization call on Tuesday morning and will be 
travelling on Thursday.  
 
Just to confirm, who is the FTF member from Argentina who has expressed 
interest in attending the meeting?
 
By the way, I've written to add my name to the list serve about the 
Montevideo meeting and am wondering if anything has gone out yet .
 
Just FYI -- I will be taking care of some personal issues this week and 
taking a break beginning the end of this week until Monday, April 1st.

Gracias por esto y las otras notas.  Que bien que hay este interes en la 
reunion de Montevideo.  Se que mencione mi interes de ir a la reunion en 
Montevideo en una llamada o algun mensaje, pero deja avisar en la lista ahora mi 
interes en ir por parte del EFT. Tambien, pienso que seria bueno ver como podemos 
colocar a representantes del EFT en coaliciones nacionales o regionales.  Quizas 
seria bueno proponer una llamada de conferencia para discutir bien la 
representacion. Si tenemos mas de tres personas podemos discutir estrategias para 
meter a todas.  Por el momento solo hay tres interesadas entonces quizas no hay 
necesidad para eso.  Si si tenemos una llamada, prefiero el miercoles que el 
martes tengo llamada del equipo de mobilizacion y el jueves viajo.  Solo para 
confirmar, quien de Argentina tiene interest? 
 
A proposito, envie mi correo para que se agregue a la lista de la reunion, 
pero no he visto nada. Ha salido algo?

Queridas amigas,
este domingo vence el plazo para registrarse para la reunión global de 
Montevideo. Necesitamos ponernos de acuerdo respecto a quiénes serán las que 
representen al Equipo de Trabajo Feminista. Es muy importante saber cuántas van a 
venir como parte de vuestras coaliciones nacionales, comités regionales u 
organizaciones internacionales. Y a partir de ahí decidir quiénes serán las tres 
mujeres que participen en nombre del ETF. Ya hemos recibido dos solicitudes, una 
de Perú y otra de Argentina, de organizaciones que están muy activas en las 
listas. Debemos tomar una decisión no más tarde del viernes. Por favor 
intercambiemos opiniones al respecto así podemos decidir. Si les parece necesario 
podemos tratar de organizar una teleconferencia.
