Dear Ana,

Thanks for this note and thanks again for your support and leadership  
throughout all this time.  Again, you and the ICAE team but especially YOU  made 
this meeting happen.  I agree also that the FTF has established and  interwoven 
itself into GCAP.  One comment by our friend Hassen reminds me  that we need to 
do more to "gender sensitize" our colleagues---both men and  women about 
women's situation around the world, why gender equality is central  to poverty 
eradication and why it's ok to be a feminist, to be called a feminist  or to be a 
"feministo!"  Perhaps we need to bring on some male colleagues  into our 
team!  In any case, I think that ---an item to put on the  teleconference 
agenda--we should try to organize, well fundraise first, a  meeting for gender 
sensitizing for our GCAP colleagues for the latter half of  the year so that we can 
garner some more support.  We can open it up for  people and really try to 
address the issue of demystifying some of these  issues.

So, forward and onward!!!!  

I am very well established into the Mobilization Task Force and I  think can 
now call myself a permanent member after 5 months.  The new  communications 
and media task force works closely with the MTF and the  mobilizations.  It's a 
crucial task force.  I would dare to nominate  Lysa for this one so we could 
really distribut the work.  She's done  campaign communication work it appears 
for her 9 is Mine campaigns.  Lysa,  if you are not opposed, I would like to 
nominate you for this task force.

Me disculpan que para un mensaje hace dias no traduje.  En  resume:
Gracias de nuevo a Ana y su equipo, pero especialmente a Ana por su  
liderazgo y apoyo.
Estoy de acuerdo que el EFT se ha establecido dentro de GCAP de un modo mas  
avanzado que antes aunque hay todavia cositas como el comentario de Hassen  
(porque tener "feminista" en el nombre) a signalado.  Propongo una sesion  de 
sensibilizar sobre genero para GCAP, que sea abierto y alli poder tratar  
ciertos asuntos de cual hablamos. Quizas traer algun colega feministo al  grupo!!!

permanente despues de 5 meses.

Sugiero a Lysa para el grupo de prensa y nueva comunicacion que es crucial

les resumo mi mensaje: Chona nos representa en el grupo de  comunicaciones, 
entonces sugiero que en respuesta al mensaje de Ciara,  encargada de 
comunicaciones y prensa, sea Chona la que nos mantenga  informada. Pero 
además digo, primero que nada, que confío que todas hayan  llegado bien a 
vuestras casas, a pesar d elos largos viajes, y sobre todo  que hayan llegado 
satisfechas con la buena reunión. Comparto mi satisfacción  por el buen 
entendimiento que tuvimos con los representantes regionales y  con haber 
logrado una declaración que refleja nuestras preocupaciones con un  lenguaje 
también político. Creo que el ETF se ha consolidado como un grupo  central 
dentro de GCAP y que el contar con un grupo facilitador ha  contribuido a 
eso. De manera que muchas gracias a todas! Y confío que  trabajemos también 
muy fuerte este año.
Tenemos que acordar quién nos  representará en el grupo de prensa (distinto 
al de comunicaciones). Se  precisa una voluntaria!.
Hasta ahora tenemos la siguiente distribución de  tareas:
IFT: Ana, y Rosa es mi suplente
e-communications:  Chona
Mobilisation: Rosa (y Lysa?)
Josephine: participó en la reunión del  6 de mayo pero no sé si quedó con una 
responsabilidad específica y le pido  que lo aclare.
Prensa: pendiente

Sugiero que tengamos una conferencia  a través de Skype. Las que no tienen 
aún una dirección de Skype pueden  adquirirla gratis, bajando Skype de 
internet sin costo! Es importante que  tengamos esa comunicación para definir 
el trabajo de los próximos  meses.

I should say  though, before everything, that I hope everyone arrived safe 
and in one  piece after the long trip!! And that you enjoyed your time in 
Montevideo,  and above all, that you went back with a feeling of achievement. 
I think  we had a great meeting. I really enjoyed seeing the coincidences we 
had as  FTF with regional representatives and the will to work with an agenda
