You are sending us good news, as it is very important to be involved with national coalitions and the regional secretariats. I received the request of Marie-Ange to suscribe to the FTF list and am processing it.
Do you have a Skype name?
Can the others also send your Skype names so we can try to have a conference this Friday?

just to sayy I arrived well but had a bad flu on arrival. I am fine now and able to be up and about.
Yes we had a good meeting in Montevedio and thanks for your hard work Ana and the team.
One other achivement I think was the involvement of FTF in national coalition discussions.
For Africa there is at least now communication link with the Africa secretariat and establishing further communication on engendering Africa actvities. There was also a proposal to include FTF in national coalitions. this will be further discussed at an Africa meeting proposed for july. I hope these suggestions will be taken on board.

I should say though, before everything, that I hope everyone arrived safe
and in one piece after the long trip!! And that you enjoyed your time in
Montevideo, and above all, that you went back with a feeling of achievement.
I think we had a great meeting. I really enjoyed seeing the coincidences we
had as FTF with regional representatives and the will to work with an agenda
that is political and reflects our concerns. I have the feeling that the FTF
has consolidated itself as a major group within GCAP and that our
contribution is widely recognised. Having a facilitation team has made a big
difference. So thanks to all of you! And let´s work hard this year.
One thing we need to agree on is the media person. That will give us even
higher visibility. Who would like to do that? The TOR are attached, so you
can have a look and then volunteer!
We have the following distribution of tasks for the time being:
IFT: Ana, and Rosa as alternate
e- communications: Chona
Mobilisation: Rosa (and Lysa?)
Josephine: after the meeting on the 6th, is there a follow-up? Are you
representing us in a regular group? And thanks for representing us!
Media: pending
I suggest we have a teleconference through Skype. How many of you have a
Skype name? If you don´t, you can get it for free, just download Skype.
I think is important so we can plan the coming months.

les resumo mi mensaje: Chona nos representa en el grupo de comunicaciones,
entonces sugiero que en respuesta al mensaje de Ciara, encargada de
comunicaciones y prensa, sea Chona la que nos mantenga informada. Pero
además digo, primero que nada, que confío que todas hayan llegado bien a
vuestras casas, a pesar d elos largos viajes, y sobre todo que hayan llegado
satisfechas con la buena reunión. Comparto mi satisfacción por el buen
entendimiento que tuvimos con los representantes regionales y con haber
logrado una declaración que refleja nuestras preocupaciones con un lenguaje
también político. Creo que el ETF se ha consolidado como un grupo central
dentro de GCAP y que el contar con un grupo facilitador ha contribuido a
eso. De manera que muchas gracias a todas! Y confío que trabajemos también
muy fuerte este año.
Tenemos que acordar quién nos representará en el grupo de prensa (distinto
al de comunicaciones). Se precisa una voluntaria!.
Hasta ahora tenemos la siguiente distribución de tareas:
IFT: Ana, y Rosa es mi suplente
e-communications: Chona
Mobilisation: Rosa (y Lysa?)
Josephine: participó en la reunión del 6 de mayo pero no sé si quedó con una
responsabilidad específica y le pido que lo aclare.
Prensa: pendiente
Sugiero que tengamos una conferencia a través de Skype. Las que no tienen
aún una dirección de Skype pueden adquirirla gratis, bajando Skype de
internet sin costo! Es importante que tengamos esa comunicación para definir
el trabajo de los próximos meses.
