Dear all,
we have received the message below sent by Ben Margolis (member of the GCAP
support team) whom we work very closely in many areas. He would like to know
our plans for March 8 2008. Although it is early, it would be good if we can
share some ideas of what we would like to do as this can also help us
prepare ourselves better, and also fundraise with time for the mobilisation.
Some of you might already have plans for your respective regions, that we
could share and come up with common plans as FTF. I would very much
appreciate if you could respond this week. Thanks!!
Ana

Amigas,
Ana

> Dear Ana and Rosa,
>
> I hope you are both very well.
> I am writing to you on a very rare occasion with my Oxfam hat on. I don't
> seem to have much need to wear it these days as the GCAP one fits better -

>
> At Oxfam there are extensive discussions underway about plans for
> International Women's Day in 2008 and some, but not massive, commitment to

>
> On behalf of some of the people here who are planning these activities, I
> am writing to ask if the Feminist Task Force currently has any plans for
> activities on International Women's Day 2008. I know that so soon after
> October 17th this is unlikely but maybe if you could give me an idea of

> Many thanks - all the best
