[Ftffacilitationteam] FTF Facilitation meeting in March

Dear Rosa, dear friends, (espanhol abajo)
I am really looking forward to the meeting in New York as it will give us the 
opportunity to take stock of all what we have done in 2007 and plan for the 
year ahead. As you know this is a year with big changes in the GCAP 
structure. Rosa and Josephine have been part of the structure group and know 
this very well but all of you have been kept informed and have contributed in 
different ways to the shaping of the new structure as the discussions started 
even before the Montevideo meeting and a lot of decisions where taken there 
where several of you were.
Among those changes is the establishment of a new body that replaces the IFT 
and of course the mandate of all of us who sit there comes to an end. We need 
to agree on the FTF representation. This is very important.
I really hope that several of you will be attending the New York meeting. To 
plan this is important to have a teleconference where we can talk and agree 
on a series of issues. Rosa and I were thinking to have a call on Monday 21 
January. We need to know your availability. This is a crucial call. PLEASE 
RESPOND TO THIS MESSAGE INDICATING IF YOU ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE CALL AND IF 
NOT, WHAT DAY WILL FIT YOU BETTER. IT MUST BE NEXT WEEK. 
Even if you know that you will not go to New York, it is important for all of 
us to be at the call. So thanks in advance for confirming your participation.

Monday.

un resumen del mensaje: Rosa envio un mensaje comunicando que el 1 y el 2 de 
marzo sera la reunion de la FTF en Nueva York, coincidiendo con la reunion de 
la CSW. Ella ya escribio sobre eso en diciembre y provisionalmente nos ha 
inscripto a todas para asegurar lugar y tambien facilitar la obtencion de 
visa. Pide que confirmen quienes van a participar. Yo agrego que la reunion 
del 1 y 2 de marzo es muy importante dados los cambios en la estructura de 
GCAP, ya el IFT sera suplantado por un nuevo organo y el mandato de todos y 
todas quienes estamos alli termina en marzo, por lo que debemos decidir sobre 
la nueva representacion. 
Para conversar sobre la reunion de marzo, Rosa y yo estamos proponiendo una 
llamada el lunes 21 y les pedimos por favor que confirmen si estan 
disponibles y si no, que sugieran un dia alternativo que debe ser sin falta 
la proxima semana. Esperamos entonces vuestra confirmacion para la llamada, 
independiente de si van a ir o no a la reunion de Nueva York.
