Dear All: It seem quite difficult to discuss this issue through skype or
other IT means except through internet.

Could we support Ana ( that is from the south) as co chair ? If Ana is not
available could we think on Adelaide or Kumi (who is also gender sensitive).

But again the best person is Ana.

Best regards

Marcela

Dear ana and all,

As mentioned, no internet. They told us there would be in dorms but we had no
passwords. No int. Cafe found. Will try through blackberry but no skype
capability. No decisions taken yesterday but today we will.

Need to know-what nominees for co-chairs do we want to suppurt? Ana you don't
want to continue-just to make sure? Are we supporting Sylvia, a likely
nominee? Kumi? Amitabh? He is not opposed but wants to know about work load.
Any others? Adelaide? Woman from South
Kinda? From Lebanon-have approached her. She is resistant somewhat. 2-3
cochairs ok and only from South ok.
Foundation board-do we want to be one of the 5 Global Council members in this
group???

PLEASE RESPOND ASAP

Rosa

Dear Rosa, dear all, looking at the agenda I see that there are some issues
we should have a common position on, for example who we would like to be the
next co-chairs of GCAP. A very important issue is the approval of the roles
and functions of the Global Foundation and the Global Council. I have been
writing about that and I presented a very clear position at the IFT call last
week. I´m sure Rosa will defend this position which is crucial to ensure that
constituencies continue to own GCAP and that the Foundation has only
administrative functions. I suggest that we have some contact through Skype
at the end of today's session, which will be at 18:00 GMT, or it can be at
19:00 GMT. It might be that for some of you it might be too late, but let`s
try at least those of us who can make it and then we can agree on a better
time for tomorrow. I hope this works Rosa. Greetings, Ana   Luisa, GMT es la

Dear all,   As per our most recent meeting of the FTF-FT, I am attaching the
proposed agenda for the Glasgow meeting.  I'd like to propose that we
schedule some skype times to chat or to exchange e-mails early in the
morning.  We will be staying at University housing so I'm not sure what type
of internet service there will be.  Upon arrival I will forward more details
but let's just say that in general I will do a check-in in the morning
(around 8 GMT) and an afternoon/evening check in as well.  Let's see if we
could formalize something to be inclusive of those interested in engaging at
different schedules around the world.   Any input on the proposed agenda
please forward.   Warm regards,   Rosa
