Dear Lysa,
thank you very much for sharing this information with us. And it is actually quite relevant because as FTF we will organise a tribunal on women and Climate change at the end of the year in Belem do Para, Brazil. You will certainly recall that we were going to have the workshop on economic literacy in Belem in May, in the framework of CONFINTEA VI and the civil society forum. The Conference was postponed by the Brazilian government due to the swine flu. It will most probably take place now in the same place in November or December. As FTF we will have there three major activities: the planned economic literacy workshop, the tribunal on women and climate change and the Facilitation team face to face meeting. We have just received confirmation for this year funding and this allows us to plan the participation of ALL facilitation team members in Belem. You are certainly invited to attend, particularly if you hold a tribunal on this topic in India and could present the conclusions at the tribunal in Belem. We are going to have a telecall from all the FTF facilitation team members who in one way or another are doing some work on women and climate change. Marcela Ballara will convene this call and the participants are: yourself, Josephine (who will attend the African meeting), Marta Benavidez, Marcela and myself.
We will inform you as soon as the date of the call is confirm and hope that you can join.

  thanks for this. just to let you know that we have begun discussions on the possibility of holding a Women's Tribunal on Climate Justice this year. A decision should be reached by the end of the month. if there is any information that would be useful around this theme, do send it to us.
