[Ftffacilitationteam] Urgent: nomination for GCAP global Assembly

Dear friends,

To one and all who sent greetings and kind words os condolences, I thank you. It's been a trying time, and I've taken days to sort out family stuff, emotions and get some rest after the death of my father. The sadness doesn't just go away, as you all know, but the sting not quite as much with the days and time with my family. In the Mexican tradition, the family (extended and friends) gather to pray for nine days after the burial. We've done this and now with the quiet we can reflect and rest a bit. Thankfully, my brother and sisters and I still have our mother, and we are there to support her.  Slowly we move through our grief. 

I haven't communicated to anyone--you all are the first and I do want to thank you all as sisters for your support.  

I'm easing back into work starting today, trying to get through a ton of emails, however I'm still not in New York so my internet connection is  sketchy as least moreso today. I'm trying to at least read up on all the replies to Ana's email since those messages have downloaded but the reply is intermitent.  Ana, can we try to connect later today around 4-5 NY time--i should be caught up on  emails on this issue, if not early tomorrow morning via skype if we can extend the submission deadline?
