<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>this message is a follow-up to the two funding
proposals sent by Prisca and Elizabeth. They are unfortunately beyond the scope
of what we can do as FTF. You will all probably recall that what we said at the
meeting that we should try to fund was the messaging aspect of our campaign
(with the printing of some materials but mainly through messages we want the
whole of GCAP to incorporate). The two proposals received mention many
activities (in some case local and in other regional) but we have not planned as
FTF for national and regional actions. We are in fact a global articulation, so
our actions are more in line with informing and supporting those of national and
regional character. Nerea has suggested and I think it is a very good idea, that
for next year we can fund-raise for the regional FTF instances. But for this
year we have to work on the basis of globality. So, as agreed in Toronto, we
want to have messages for the whole of GCAP and we do have US$ 2,000 for the
purpose of communication. We spent a bit less than planned at the meeting so we
can have a bit more than the US$ 2,000. I will be able to tell you before the
end of this week how many more funds will be available even if they are not too
many. So, we need to take a decision on how we are going to distribute these
funds so that all regional focal points can benefit from the access to
materiales. </FONT></DIV>

respond so as to take a decision soon. It is very important as facilitation team
to have a regular exchange of information, so that we can be in a position to
