Subject: About the idea of mobilization

Dear Ana and all friends of FTF

Sorry for being late
responded for every thing

Ana, Nerea thank you for every think updated
and working actively on the
GCAP FTF group.

According to understanding
at Canada. I have to prepare a proposal but I am
also some confused as Prisca
and Elizabeth. So I thought first I will
contact to the some Asian
friends. I send email some of the Asian friends
with the help of Bruit
participant list. Some of them they respond to me
about the involvement of
GCAP according to our FTF strategic planning

Now I came to the conclusion
about regional Activities with the help of
those friends whom I can
contacted.

v Mostly we need the IEC materials for the
mobilization through GCAP.
Mobilization should be Woman focused. For
example

1. Poster

2. Pamphlet, booklet,

3. White
band

3. T-shirt

4. Stickers etc.

These all materials should
be gender friendly and women rights focus.

Beside this we need some
programme for conceptual clarification on the
issues focusing poverty and
feminization, or mass mobilization throw women's
participation as well some
time men and women too but mostly should be lead
by
women.

v Some of the regional friend's idea is, It
would be better if we will do
once the regional meeting for our planning in
region base, it will give the
concrete idea for regional level activities. We
can think on this line too.

v Another idea is for
the activities which we are going to plan for 16
days of violence
against women; there also we can mobilize the GCAP (FTF)
Campaign. Regional
friends are also more interested.

v According to our
women consortium in Nepal. We are planning to have a
Stand up campaign for
October 16 and seventh in big number at all over the
country which GCAP
campaign there we are planning together more than 25,000
women. It would be
better some materials we can distribute at that time.

So now I
would like to suggest to FTF mainly Ana, first we have to develop
the
proposal on the basis of regional idea collecting from all region and
after
gaining the resources we can send them according to their activities.
Now I
am trying the name list from country and send you as national
focal
points.

Next thing is sorry for not sending the presentation of
mine to Nerea at
right time. I think this was not much focus on women and
poverty too.

Lastly I am sending my boarding pass and airport
transpotation throw mail
and than now scanning too.

I will
contact to Elizabeth for the preparing of World social forum. Once
again
thanks for team efford.

Sharmila Karki
President
Jagaran Nepal
