husband, Jairo, works for Statistics South Africa and they are organising the
next International Statistical Conference in South Africa in 2009. He has
written to me asking for someone who can make a presentation on indicators from
the perspective of the South. </SPAN></FONT></DIV>

development indicators for ISI 2009.</SPAN></FONT> <BR><BR><FONT face=sans-serif

the speakers for the session except for one, and I am emailing you to find out

to have two speakers, and a panel discussion. One of the speakers is Walter
Rademacher, the head of the Federal Statistics Office in Germany, who will give
an overview of the topic for the session 'Sustainable Development Indicators;
New Challenges.' The panel will discuss the topic 'Decision Making for
Sustainable Development. What Information is Required?' We have 3 panel members
confirmed who will talk from a policy perspective, statistical perspective, and
