<div><font size="2">as we informed to you today, Oxfam Novib has confirmed their funding of the FTF for 2009. Below is the message sent by Kees Kodde, who is in charge of our project. Attached you will see the internal appraisal document which provides information that they used to take the decision. You will see that they have already brought together some of the proposals we made in terms of outcomes and those presented by GCAP. This paves the way for next year when they are expecting GCAP and the FTF to present an integrated workplan.</font></div>
<div><font size="2">You can also see that one of their concerns is that they are our only regular funder. We have received specific funding for events and so on, but they think that we should look for regular funding from other sources. Looking for funds, though, particularly if we prepare a funding proposal as we have always done for Oxfam Novib, is quite time consuming, but we should do that at some point this year. I also think that at some point it would be good to have some external evaluation of our work. That implies funds, though. So maybe we should look for specific funds for that. These are just ideas, but we need to explore them in the coming weeks.</font></div>

So, upon dilevery of an integrated workplan 2010 of GCAP and FTF, we will consider a possible suppletion to our contribution to the GCAP global secretariat for gender work.</font></font></font></div>
