availability you indicated in your mails, the 9th of October is the best day
to have the call. The time we are suggesting is 11:30 GMT (please check what
time this is in your respective cities). As a guidance, it will be 7.30 in New
York, 8.30 in Montevideo, 15:30 in Johannesburg. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>We will look at several issues in that call: funding
situation, planning of the various tribunals, guidance on how to run them,
common reporting procedures, video or power point presentation to take to COP
15, among others. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>As we will be several in the call, we decided to use the
GCAP conference call lines, rather than Skype. So please make sure you send
your telephone numbers to Rosa. Please make sure that you send these details
not later than Tuesday next week!!!</FONT></DIV>

funds being administered<BR>> by the GCAP Secretariat for the
organisation of 7<BR>> tribunals on gender and<BR>> climate change.
I copy below the table of all the<BR>> tribunals.<BR>> We received
mostly positive responses<BR>> from the Secretariat<BR>> because in
most cases they said yes (Belem, Pakistan,<BR>> Nepal, Botswana) and in
a<BR>> couple of cases they indicated that there is a need for
a<BR>> brief reformulation<BR>> (Nigeria) or that they need to look
for other sources of<BR>> funding as Oxfam is<BR>> already
organising tribunals in India and in Kenya/Uganda.<BR>> That means that
for<BR>> Nigeria we need to send a reformulation (Rosa is
supporting<BR>> Caroline on this)<BR>> and for India and the AWEPON
proposals we need to wait to<BR>> see if they manage to<BR>> get
funds from other sources. With respect to the AWEPON<BR>> proposal they
had some<BR>> doubts in relation to AWEPON´s participation in GCAP
but<BR>> Rosa did send<BR>> information about Josephine being an
active member of our<BR>> facilitation team.<BR>> What we would like
to suggest with respect to this<BR>> particular tribunal, that
was<BR>> originally suggested for Kenya and Uganda, is that you<BR>>
concentrate just on one<BR>> country, rather than organising two
events. If you could<BR>> please Josephine<BR>> reformulate the
proposal on the basis of one tribunal and<BR>> resend to Fionuola,
I<BR>> think that would be great.<BR>> <BR>> We have talked
with Rosa about the<BR>> specific support that you<BR>> might need
and decided to have Rosa as reference person for<BR>> Botswana, Nepal
and<BR>> Nigeria, and myself for Pakistan, India and the AWEPON<BR>>
tribunal. So if you have<BR>> any questions please write to Rosa or to
me,<BR>> accordingly.<BR>> <BR>> With respect to all
tribunals we must<BR>> place them within a<BR>> common thread, so as
to be able to report in Copenhagen and<BR>> beyond having used<BR>>
the same instruments. We will develop in the coming days a<BR>> common
reporting<BR>> format that will help all of you to highlight the
main<BR>> aspects of the tribunals.<BR>> We also want to have common
procedures in terms of the<BR>> accounting, financial<BR>>

the<BR>> seven tribunals we are<BR>> planning to have a
teleconference the first week of October<BR>> (the week from
the<BR>> 5th to the 9th). We would very much appreciate it if
