Dear Task Force  members,

This is to inform you that the President of the General Assembly  has made 
his decision on the selection of the NGO, civil society and private  sector
representatives to speak at the September Summit. You will find the  list of
names below. Please note that the President of the General Assembly  will 
send a letter today to Member States to inform them of his  selection.
After a few days, in the absence of comments on the part of Member  States,
the Secretariat will be in a position to send letters of invitation  to the 
five representatives, as was done for the Hearings. The selection was  made
to ensure, to the extent possible, a balanced geographical and  gender
representation.

Separate meeting on Financing for  Development, Wednesday, 14 September 
2005 (scheduled to take  place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.)

Representative of  civil society:

Ms. Leonor  Briones (Philippines), Director, Social Watch

Representative of the private sector:

Prof. Klaus Schwabb (German), Founder and Executive Chairman, 
World  Economic Forum

**Please note that these two representantives will be the  last speakers at
the meeting.  The meeting may go beyond 1  p.m.


Participation in the High-level Plenary Meeting, on  Friday afternoon, 16 
September 20005 (scheduled to take place  from 1 to 7 p.m.)

Representative of an NGO in  consultative status with ECOSOC:

Mr. Guy Ryder (UK), General Secretary, International
Confederation of  Free Trade Unions 

Representative of civil  society:

Ms. Virginia Vargas  (Peru), Founding Director and Executive
Board Member of the Centre for  Peruvian Women "Flora Tristan"

Representative of the private sector: 

Dr. Bamanga Tukur (Nigeria), Group Chairman of BHI  Holdings
Limited

The three representatives will be the last speakers  on the list of speakers
for the Friday afternoon meeting, which will  certainly go beyond 7 p.m.
