Les envío adjunto la traducción al español de  los criterios para 
participar en la reunión internacional de GCAP, que tendrá lugar los días 
13, 14 y 15 de marzo en Beirut, Líbano.

Junto con los criterios, quisiera llamarles la atención sobre la fecha 
límite para enviar los nombres de los representantes regionales: el viernes 
3 de Febrero.

Dear GCAP Regional Focal Points,

I am writing on behalf of the GCAP Steering Committee on the Future to keep 
you informed about the participant's process for the next GCAP 
International Facilitation Group meeting, which will take place in 2006 on 
March the 13th, 14th, and 15th, in Beirut , Lebanon. The GCAP Steering 
Committee on the Future is asking the Regional Focal points of GCAP to 
please contribute in collating names of GCAP national coalition and 
regional participants for Beirut, in order to ensure that there is 
widespread participation and representation at this meeting. Many of you 
have contacts and resources that we do not posses so please feel free to 
forward this information along.

Each region will be allowed to send up to three people , and each national 
platform is entitled to send one (two if the country has a population of 
over 100m) delegates to the meeting. As the attached criteria shows there 
are also other ways of attending – however, the representative for each 
national platform needs to be put forward with the agreement of others in 
the national platform – so each national coalition participant who is 
interested will need to discuss it with their colleagues. I have also 
attached the list of GCAP supporters who have written directly expressing 
their interest in attending Beirut for you to look at.

Please can you share your list of potential participants with Nicki 
(<mailto:mdgadmin1 en civicus.org> mdgadmin1 en civicus.org) by Friday the 3rd of 
February, 2006 . The participant list will then be pulled together and 
shared with the GCAP Steering Committee on the Future, the Co chairs as 
well as re- circulated back to you for final consultation. The IFG Beirut 
participant list will be finalized by Friday the 10th of February, 2006 and 
thereafter formal invitations with registration instructions will be sent 
out.
