Dear all, queridas todas (español abajo)

The 8th of March is just a week away. We have the possibility of posting in the GCAP website, under the FTF link, all the information concerning the activities you would like to include in the site. Please send them to me as soon as possible, ideally this week, so there is time to have them posted in the website before the 8th of March.
It would also be very good if some of you are willing to share some thoughts on the meaning of this date, for all of us, for the GCAP constituency, and for the public in general who might consult the site. Is there any specific significance on this year, any particular demand or proposal that has to do where we are currently in terms of advocacy? Why is it important for a global call against poverty to commemorate the 8th of March? What do we, as women, as feminist, want to say or to reflect upon this 8th of March that has to do with the overall challenge of building a just world, freed from poverty? I am sure many of you and your organisations have analysis to share and I thank you in advance for sending them!

estamos apenas a una semana del 8 de marzo y este año tenemos la posibilidad de incluir en el sitio web de GCAP, bajo el link del ETF, todas las actividades que vuestras organizaciones u otras están organizando para esa fecha. Les agradezco entonces si me envían esta semana todo lo que quieran que se incluya en la página web de GCAP.
También sería muy bueno si alguna de ustedes quisiera compartir análisis sobre el significado de esta fecha, para noostras, para los miembros de GCAP y para el público en general que puede consultar la página. Hay algo específico en la movilización de este año, algo que tenga que ver con las demandas y propuestas particulares del movimiento en este momento histórico? Por qué es importante que un llamado mundial contra la pobreza conmemore el 8 de marzo? Qué es lo que nosotras como mujeres, como feministas, queremos decir o analizar en torno a este 8 de marzo que tiene que ver con construir un mundo justo, libre de pobreza? Estoy segura que muchas de ustedes y de vuestras organizaciones tienen análisis para compartir al respecto y les agradezco desde ya!
