Dear friends, (español abajo)
We want to thank our colleagues in the list who have indicated your trust in 
the work we have done for the last couple of years and who have nominated 
both of us to continue representing the FTF at the GCAP global level while 
coordinating and facilitating our work. We are pleased to accept this 
nomination and continue the work of the FTF
As you know the meeting early this year of the FTF facilitation team gave 
the general lines for the work of the year and the next two years until 2010 
and we must now put that into an application to be sent to funders. We hope 
we will be successful and that will allow us to implement the activities we 
believe are necessary to strengthen our work of promoting gender equality as 
a key condition towards the eradication of poverty. 
We will keep you informed in terms of what happens with our application. 
Thanks again to all of you for the constant support and above all, for the 
work done at your country and regional levels that have strengthened the 
presence of the FTF throughout GCAP. 
We look forward to your continuous participation throughout the year.

Queridas amigas,
Queremos agradecer a las compañeras de la lista que manifestaron su 
confianza en el trabajo que hemos realizado hasta ahora y que nos han 
nominado para continuar coordinando el trabajo del ETF y representándolo en 
los niveles globales de GCAP. Aceptamos con gusto esta nominación y 
continuaremos con el trabajo del ETF.
Como ustedes saben, en la reunión mantenida en marzo por el equipo 
facilitador del ETF acordamos las líneas generales del trabajo para este año 
y los próximos dos, hasta el 2010. Ahora debemos plasmar esto en una 
solicitud de apoyo que le estaremos enviando a los donantes. Confiamos tener 
éxito con esta solicitud de manera de poder implementar las actividades que 
creemos necesarias para fortalecer nuestro trabajo de promoción de la 
igualdad de género como condición central para la erradicación de la 
pobreza. 
Las mantendremos informadas de lo que ocurra con la solicitud. 
Gracias nuevamente a todas ustedes por el apoyo constante, y sobre todo por 
el trabajo que han hecho en vuestros países y en vuestras regiones que ha 
fortalecido la presencia del ETF dentro de GCAP.
Confiamos que continuarán participando a lo largo del año.
