En la coalición peruana del GCAP ya hemos iniciado la planificación de algunas actividades en el marco de los 50 días de movilización. Directamente desde Flora Tristán estaremos levantando el tema de las mujeres rurales, unido a pobreza y seguridad alimentaria.

Dear national coalition coordinator,
It is just two weeks until the 50 days of action begins on September 1 and I am sure your plans are well advanced at this time. Please do share your plans and activities with me so that the global team can highlight your actions on the www.whiteband.org web site and through press releases, internal communications and other channels.
At this time I would like to make you aware of three important documents that are now available:
1) The GCAP mobilisation guide is attached in English, and is also available online in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese (Arabic will be available on Thursday) or using the links at
http://www.whiteband.org/blog/archive/2008/08/07/gcap-mobilisation-guide-out-today.
2) In advance of the UN High Level Event on MDGs on September 25, GCAP is sending a letter, endorsed by a number of other organisations, to all UN Government Missions in New York. The text of this letter is available online to be used, or adapted, for national level lobbying. It is available here (http://www.whiteband.org/Action/take-action/gcap-mobilisation-2008/mdgs-2008/un-mdg-lobby-letter) in English and will be available soon in Arabic, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
3) A joint letter signed by Guy Ryder, General Secretary International Trade Union Confederation and GCAP co-chairs Sylvia Borren, Adelaide Sosseh and Kumi Naidoo encouraging activists and organisation to support the World Day for Decent Work is available currently in English, Portuguese and Arabic and shortly in other languages at
