Dear friends,
queridas amigas, (español abajo)

yesterday we had the Global Council call and information was provided that 
the Gates Foundation will be supporting GCAP financially. GCAP is now in the 
process of filling some positions: Campaign Director (held up to now by 
Irfan Mufti from Pakistan who is leaving in April, going back to his 
country); Mobilisation Coordinator (this was the position held by Ben 
Margolis, who left it at the end of 2008); GCAP Global Secretariat 
Assistant, that is basically a new position. 
Below you will find the links for each post. Please disseminate the 
information widely and if any of you wants to apply, that would be great! 
None of the positions is tied to a physical place, you can work from your 
place of choice, provided you are connected through Skype and other means.

I also tell you that at the call of the global council there was widespread 
recognition to the work done by the FTF around 8 March and towards G20. We 
hope many of you are making use of the tools.

Ayer fue la llamada del Consejo Global y recibimos información sobre que la 
Fundación Gates va a apoyar financieramente a GCAP. GCAP lanza ahora el 
proceso de contratar personas para llenar tres posiciones: Director/a de 
Campaña (puesto ocupado hasta ahora por Irfan Mufti de Pakistan quien a 
partir de abril regresa a su país); Coordinador/a de Movilización (éste es 
el puesto que ocupó Ben Margolis hasta diciembre del 208); Asistente para el 
Secretariado Global de GCAP (es básicamente un puesto nuevo).
Les copio debajo los links para cada puesto. Les agradecemos que difundan la 
información y si alguna de ustedes quisiera presentarse sería fantástico! 
Ninguno de los puestos requiere trabajar en un lugar determinado, cada 
persona puede proponer desde qué país desea trabajar siempre que esté 
conectada a través de Skype y otros medios. Una condición indispensable es 
hablar inglés y ayuda mucho hablar otra lengua de Naciones Unidas y 
portugués.

Les cuento también que en la reunión de ayer hubo amplio reconocimiento al 
trabajo hecho por nuestro ETF en torno al 8 de marzo y con miras al G20.
