Como GCAP en Beirut nos pusimos de acuerdo : “DEMANDAMOS QUE LA IGUALDAD DE GENERO SEA RECONOCIDO COMO UN TEMA CENTRAL PARA LA ERRADICACION DE LA POBREZA”.</FONT></FONT></P>

Fue movido como subpunto y no resalta el hecho de que la igualdad de género es CENTRAL y NECESARIA para la erradicación de la pobreza. Dice que “los gobiernos deben…asegurar igualdad de género…” lo que es distinto a lo que propusimos y demandamos. Esto debe ser corregido. </FONT></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3>¿Por qué pasamos por este proceso, para bien o para mal, de ponernos de acuerdo en un lenguaje, o pasar la mayor parte de la noche debatiendo y buscando el lenguaje específico para este documento si iba a ser editado y modificado una semana después? También surge la pregunta respecto a por qué el lenguaje de la centralidad de la igualdad de género para eliminar la pobreza fue relegado a un subpunto? Esto es lo que el GTF y las organizaciones de mujeres alrededor del mundo hemos abogado dentro de GCAP por los últimos 18 meses. Comprender esto es central para entender el trabajo por la erradicación de la pobreza. Surge la pregunta, ¿quiere GCAP socavar los esfuerzos para erradicar la pobreza mediante un no destaque de este tema?</FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3></FONT> </P>

ESTA VERSION RESUMIDA ES DIFERENTE A LA QUE SE ACORDO EN BEIRUT Y NO SE JUSTIFICA CAMBIAR LENGUAJE ACORDADO.</FONT></P>

El documento 4-partes DEBE SER CAMBIADO EN TODOS LOS LENGUAJES para corregir la formulación acordada en Beirut, de lo contrario invalidará el espíritu y trabajo de Beirut,</FONT></FONT></SPAN></P>
