<div><font size="2">today we had the call of the global council and one of the topics was to look at the March mobilisation. Everyone highlighted the e-action organised by the FTF as a very good and relevant initiative. Rosa´s efforts were particularly praised. The e-actions have received broad recognition and they are being used regularly, you can find them in several website and on line bulletins. I have sent you links and documents that show the good reception this initiative (in English and in Spanish) has had. There was a suggestion at the council of improving the outlay resolution, and also the call for specific actions. It was agreed that for next editions of similar action the global council will contribute with regional inputs.</font></div>

<div><font size="2">Another important issue addressed at the call was the GCAP World Assembly. It was finally agreed upon that it will take place in September around the dates of the MDG Review. The specific dates still need to be decided, but it is going to be in the second half of September. Four groups were formed to work in the preparation:</font></div>

<div><font size="2">hoy fue la reunión telefónica del consejo global de GCAP y uno de los temas fue la evaluación de la movilización de marzo. Todos destacaron la acción del ETF como muy buena y relevante. El esfuerzo de Rosa en particular fue muy reconocido. Las acciones en línea durante los 12 días fueron realmente muy valoradas desde varios lados, y han sido usadas de manera regular. En los útlimos días les he mandado links de internet y documentos que recogen todas las acciones (en inglés y en español), lo que muestra la buena receptividad y el amplio uso que se ha hecho de este material. Un compañero del consejo sugirió que debía mejorarse la resolución visual y también que no siempre los llamados a la acción eran muy específicos o relevantes para diversas regiones. Se acordó que la próxima vez que se utilice esta metodología el consejo global va a colaborar enviando aportes regionales. </font></div>

<div><font size="2">Otro tema importante que se tocó en la reunión de hoy fue la asamblea mundial de GCAP. Se resolvió finalmente que será en Nueva York en las fechas en torno al proceso de revisión de los ODM. Los días exactos aún están por definirse pero será en la segunda quincena de setiembre. Se formaron además cuatro grupos para trabajar en la preparación:</font></div>

<div><font size="2">Podemos nominar compañeras para cada uno de esos grupos. Por favor indiquen a la lista si les gustaría trabajar en alguno de ellos. Los grupos comenzarán su trabajo a partir del mes de mayo. A partir de esa fecha además deberíamos definir nuestra participación como ETF.</font></div>
