<br></span><span style="" title="The Women and Gender Constituency expresses the critical necessity of gender mainstreaming the guidelines, formulation and implementation of the National Adaptation Plans."> Mujer y Género expresa la necesidad crítica de que  la perspectiva de 
género  este integrada en las directrices, la formulación y aplicación de los Planes 
Nacionales de Adaptación. </span><span style="" title="We recall the decisions and conclusions of the Cancun Agreements and SBI 34 that enable Least Developed Country Parties to formulate and implement national adaptation plans, building upon LDCs&#39; experiences in preparing and implementing NAPAs, as well as benefitting from the extended mandate and work of LEG">Recordamos
 que las decisiones y conclusiones de los Acuerdos de Cancún y el OSE 34 que
 permiten a los paises  menos desarrollados  a formular y 
aplicar planes nacionales de adaptación, aprovechando las experiencias 
de los NAPA  en la preparación y aplicación de los mismos  así como se 
beneficiar d la ampliación del mandato y el trabajo del LEG </span><span style="" title="and on gender.">y de l género. </span><span style="" title="From the NAPAs we note that although gender has been identified as a guiding principle, few projects have integrated gender issues.">Se observa que aunque  género se ha identificado como un 
principio rector, algunos proyectos  han integrado las cuestiones de 
género. </span><span style="" title="Therefore, Parties can improve NAPs by learning from the experience of the NAPAs with the understanding that only including gender as a guiding principle for the NAPs will not be enough.">Por
 lo tanto, las Partes (apises)  pueden mejorar PAN aprendiendo de la experiencia 
de los primeros  programas nacionales de adaptación con el entendimiento de que  no es suficiente de que  género  sea solo  un principio rector para el PAN. </span><span style="" title="Instead Parties should take appropriate actions to ensure that gender is mainstreamed in all the phases of the NAPs process including the formulation and implementation phases.">Los paises  deberían adoptar medidas adecuadas para asegurar que  género se incorpore en todas las fases del proceso de los PAN tanto ,  en la 
formulación como en la  implementación. </span><span style="" title="This can be done by including women&#39;s groups in capacity building on NAPs; gender experts in the teams involved in the NAPs process; and, within vulnerability assessments, Parties should include gender analyses regarding adaptation and vulnerability to climate change and capture gender-related information in">Esto
 puede hacerse mediante la inclusión de grupos de mujeres  en los PAN,</span></span><span id="result_box" class="" lang="es"><span style="" title="This can be done by including women&#39;s groups in capacity building on NAPs; gender experts in the teams involved in the NAPs process; and, within vulnerability assessments, Parties should include gender analyses regarding adaptation and vulnerability to climate change and capture gender-related information in">  creando capacidades</span></span><span id="result_box" class="" lang="es"><span style="" title="This can be done by including women&#39;s groups in capacity building on NAPs; gender experts in the teams involved in the NAPs process; and, within vulnerability assessments, Parties should include gender analyses regarding adaptation and vulnerability to climate change and capture gender-related information in"> , incluyendo la participacion de l expertos de género en los equipos 
involucrados en el proceso de los PNA, y, dentro de las evaluaciones de 
vulnerabilidad, las Partes ( paises)  deberían incluir análisis de género en 
relación a la adaptación y la vulnerabilidad al cambio climático y la 
captura de información relacionada con el género en </span><span style="" title="their evaluations of adaptation strategies and measures; all of which can be enabled by ensuring that appropriate funding will be allocated for such processes.">sus
 evaluaciones de las estrategias y medidas de adaptación,. Todo esto se puede realizar   asegurando   los fondos adecuados  destinarados  a 
tales procesos.<br><br></span><span style="" title="Currently, gender is well-acknowledged as an essential factor to mainstream in adaptation measures as the impacts of and responses to climate change are differentiated among women and men due to gender inequalities.">En
 la actualidad,  género es reconocido como un factor esencial 
para incorporar en las medidas de adaptación como los impactos y las 
respuestas al cambio climático l y las diferencian entre hombres y mujeres 
debido a las desigualdades de género. </span><span style="" title="Therefore gender is a necessary and fundamental element to be integrated into all the processes of the NAPs.">Por lo tanto,  género es un elemento necesario y fundamental para ser integrado en todos los procesos de los PAN.<br>
<br></span><span style="" title="The Women and Gender Constituency encourages the SBI to take a decision that provides clear guidance to formulate gender-sensitive NAPs, encourage women&#39;s participation, streamline the inputs of both women and men and to provide financial, technical and human resources for such actions to occur.">Mujer y Género alienta al OSE a tomar una decisión que puedan servir
 de guía para formular una perspectiva de género  en las  acciones a nivel nacional , 
fomentar la participación de las mujeres, optimizar los aportes de las 
mujeres y los hombres y  proporcionar recursos financieros, técnicos y
