Toutefois, comme le montre le passée (OMD et ÉPT), aussi large que soit l’espace politique, l’éducation des adultes devra toujours se battre pour être incluse dans les politiques, les lois et les priorités de financement. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify'><span lang=FR-CA>J’aimerais mettre en évidence que, en plus du processus de suivi de CONFINTEA VI, la communauté internationale de l’éducation des adultes peut profiter d’un forum spécifique pour faire entendre un plaidoyer à la défense du droit à l’éducation des adultes : l’actualisation de la recommandation de 1976 sur le développement de l’éducation des adultes. L’automne prochain, la Conférence générale de l’UNESCO adoptera une nouvelle recommandation. On peut donc s’attendre que se tienne dans un avenir proche une consultation. Dans le prochain Agenda post-2015, il est proposé de joindre un plan d’action. Ce plan d’action pourrait inclure, comme plan d’action en éducation des adultes, la recommandation nouvellement adoptée sur le développement de l’éducation des adultes. So true is still the analysis leading to it. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>Hopefully, so far in the debate, the global orientation proposed, i.e. , equitable quality lifelong education and learning for all, opens up a wide space for international and national advocacy, as underlined by Heribert. But, as </span><span lang=EN-CA>the past teaches us (MDG and EFA), as wide as a political space be, adult education will always have to fight to be included in policies, legislation and financing priorities. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-CA>I would like to highlight that, with the CONFINTEA VI following up process, the international adult learning community has another very specific forum to advocate from, in the defense of the right to adult education: the actualisation of the 1976 recommendation on the development of adult education. Next autumn, a new recommendation should be adopted at the UNESCO general conference. So we could expect being consulted in the near future. More specifically, it is proposed to join an action plan to the next Agenda post-2015. Regarding the place of adult education in the Agenda post-2015, this action plan should include, as an adult education action plan, the newly adopted Recommendation on the development of adult education.
