Economía</st1:PersonName> del Cuidado, promovida por la ex senadora del
Partido Liberal Cecilia López, proyecto que busca darle participación laboral

style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt">Esta Ley busca que la carga del trabajo del hogar se
distribuya entre el hombre, la mujer y el Estado, a través de la
reglamentación de políticas públicas que regulen las oportunidades laborales
en el país, dándole así más oportunidades a las mujeres para acceder a un
trabajo formal y disminuir su carga de trabajo en el hogar.

style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt">Según lo estipula la reciente Ley, el DANE será la
autoridad responsable de coordinar el cumplimiento a través de la realización
de una encuesta del uso del tiempo entre los colombianos, para así determinar
a qué se están dedicando las personas y poder definir si las mujeres comienzan
a dedicarle menos tiempo a las tareas del hogar no remuneradas.

una mesa de trabajo con participación de la academia, organizaciones sociales
y organismos de control, para hacerle seguimiento a la aplicación de

pretende medir el valor del trabajo del hogar, con el fin de generar
cambios en las políticas públicas dirigidas a la participación laboral
de las mujeres. Según el Dane, en Colombia el 94.27% de la población
inactiva que no busca empleo y que está dedicada al trabajo en el hogar
son mujeres, es decir, más de cinco millones, frente a 308 mil hombres
dedicados a estas tareas.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>

senadora Liberal Cecilia López Montaño, autora de la ley junto con la
senadora Gloria Inés Ramírez (Polo Democrático), afirmó que la sanción
de <st1:PersonName w:st="on" ProductID="la Ley">la Ley</st1:PersonName>
del Cuidado es el aporte más importante a la equidad de género en los
últimos años.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>

en Colombia la diferencia actual entre hombres y mujeres en tasas de
participación laboral es de 22.2 puntos porcentuales y que esa baja
participación de la mujer en el mercado laboral se asocia con la
excesiva carga de actividades domésticas que tienen en el
hogar.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>

Ley</st1:PersonName> del Cuidado busca que se redistribuya la carga del
trabajo del hogar entre la mujer, el hombre y el Estado, por medio de
políticas públicas que les aseguren a las colombianas más oportunidades
laborales y que las conviertan en la locomotora más dinámica del
país.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>

Gobierno Nacional, en cabeza del Dane, integrará una Comisión
Multisectorial que definirá la forma de inclusión sobre trabajo del
hogar no remunerado en el Sistema de Cuentas Nacionales. Lo
anterior se hará a través de la creación de una Cuenta Satélite adscrita
al sector ó como se estime conveniente para el objeto de la
ley.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>

del Tiempo.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>

consideran Actividades de Trabajo de Hogar y de Cuidado No Remunerado,
entre otras, las siguientes:<BR>Organización, distribución y supervisión
de tareas domésticas.<BR>Preparación de Alimentos.<BR>Limpieza y
mantenimiento de vivienda y enseres.<BR>Limpieza y mantenimiento del
vestido.<BR>Cuidado, formación e instrucción de los niños (traslado al
colegio y ayuda al desarrollo de tareas escolares).<BR>El cuidado de
ancianos y enfermos.<BR>Realizar las compras, pagos o trámites
relacionados con el hogar.<BR>Reparaciones al interior del
hogar.<BR>Servicios a la comunidad y ayudas no pagadas a otros hogares
de parientes, amigos y
vecinos.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
