<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial">El 2015 ha sido un año largo, que no termina de
terminar…</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial">La creación del Ministerio de la Mujer y la Equidad de
Género abre grandes expectativas al constituir una de las propuestas históricas del movimiento de mujeres que hoy día reclama:
una agenda de gobierno más intensa y articulada en la incorporación de la igualdad en las políticas públicas, un avance
efectivo en la reducción de la violencia de género, la vigencia de los derechos sexuales y los derechos reproductivos, una nueva
Constitución elaborada mediante de un proceso constituyente transparente, que asegure altos estándares de participación,
paritario en todos sus niveles, que instale una democracia paritaria y la eliminación de las discriminaciones y abusos del poder machista y
patriarcal que reaparece todos los días con una nueva cara.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial">Hace sólo algunos días nos ofrecieron como “el
esposo ideal” los productos de Clorox…Y si no es por una acción coordinada de senadoras y mujeres de organizaciones y partidos,
con argumentos del registro de “lo práctico”, “lo realista”, “lo realizable”, etc., algunos senadores nos
hubieran bloqueado la paridad en las instancias directivas de los partidos políticos.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial">Es el trabajo mancomunado de las organizaciones que impulsa y logra
avances en los derechos y la igualdad de género, el que convenció al gobierno de la urgencia de despenalizar el aborto
terapéutico, de la necesidad de emparejar la cancha para que las mujeres tomen decisiones en los partidos políticos. Han logrado
convencer, junto a aliados y aliadas en el Congreso, a parlamentarios y parlamentarias para que empujen y apoyen estas ideas.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial">Pero al mismo tiempo se han sucedido debates que parecieran dar
vuelta en banda, como es la discusión sobre el proyecto de ley que despenaliza la interrupción voluntaria del embarazo en tres causales:
riesgo de vida de la madre, inviabilidad fetal y embarazo fruto de una violación. Mientras aumenta el respaldo de la ciudadanía
–sobre el 80% en las tres causales-, en más de una año, tras decenas de sesiones, las comisiones de salud y de
constitución, legislación y justicia de la Cámara de Diputados no han logrado aprobarlo. Sesión tras sesión nuevos
invitados repiten los mismos argumentos, sin que importe a los diputados detener el tiempo y dejar a la ciudadanía esperando.
¿Qué es lo que realmente buscan aquellos diputados que semana tras semana ponen una nueva exigencia al ejecutivo? ¿Postergar la
votación y así adquirir visibilidad? ¿Asegurar que nombre quede registrado con algunas frases en la historia de la ley?
Así no mejora la confianza en la actividad parlamentaria. ¿Todos tienen una agenda propia y un gato encerrado? La ciudadanía
observa las barreras y frenos de sectores conservadores, con poder, pero sordos a las necesidades sociales.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial">Avanzamos, a empujones, pero avanzamos. La ciudadanía,
escandalizada ante las abusivas prácticas de importantes empresarios y empresas, se levanta una y otra vez para decir
¡“basta”! Los pollos, los remedios, el papel higiénico, los pasajes de buses, y suma y sigue, están en la canasta
básica de la mayoría de las familias. Es un robo a mano armada, a la vista de toda una institucionalidad creada para
“proteger” el mercado de las malas prácticas que no logra detenerlo.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial">En este Boletín miramos este año convulsionado y
escuchamos las voces de mujeres que han participado desde distintos espacios en asuntos prioritarios para la calidad de la democracia, que se hace
carne en la igualdad de género.</span></p>
