<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN lang=ES style="COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY: Tahoma; mso-ansi-language: ES"><FONT size=3>Como Uds. saben, el tema de mujeres, acceso, apropiación y control sobre los recursos naturales es un tema clave y muy sensible, especialmente porque implica temas de poder, privilegios de unos grupos sobre otros y desempodera a quienes no poseen esos derechos. Que son especialmente mujeres</FONT></SPAN><SPAN lang=ES style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: Tahoma; mso-ansi-language: ES">. El cabildeo en estos temas hacia una política de cambio e implementación de acciones afirmativas para las mujeres están siendo desafiadas por la coexistencia de costumbres religiosas, usos sociales, y leyes en las constituciones nacionales. </SPAN><SPAN lang=ES style="mso-ansi-language: ES"><o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN lang=ES style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: Tahoma; mso-ansi-language: ES">En ActionAid International y Américas hemos estado dialogando sobre la necesidad de apoyar procesos estratégicos regionales sobre el tema de Mujeres y acceso a recursos naturales en nuestra región en 2007 con la co participación de nuestras contrapartes. De estos debates surge la necesidad de saber más de nuestras contrapartes y de otros grupos de mujeres que aportan a este tema desde sus distintas experiencias.</SPAN><SPAN lang=ES style="mso-ansi-language: ES"><o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN lang=ES style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: Tahoma; mso-ansi-language: ES">Por esta razón hemos decidido llevar adelante esta reflexión virtual para compartir ideas de porque este tema permanece invisible en muchos espacios, a pesar de su importancia para el empoderamiento de las mujeres y tan conectado a otros temas que son tan importantes para las mujeres como migración, conflictos armados, educación, globalización, racismo, VIH SIDA etc. Esperamos que a través de esta reflexión, podamos también llegar a construir ideas para fortalecer nuestro cabildeo, articulación y visibilidad del tema especialmente en nuestra región.</SPAN><SPAN lang=ES style="mso-ansi-language: ES"><o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
