tiene a su cargo la gestión de diversos servicios y obras en los barrios

ejerce el gobierno sobre <st1:PersonName productid="la Zona. Su"
w:st="on">la Zona. Su</st1:PersonName> tarea es programar obras y servicios
municipales, asesorada por el Concejo Vecinal. Está integrada</font><span
style="font-size: 11pt;"> por 5 ediles</span></font><font
face="Times New Roman"><font size="3"> designados por el Intendente y propuestos
por los partidos políticos.<br>
Los Concejos Vecinales, creados</font><span
style="font-size: 11pt;"> en 1993, son</span></font><font
face="Times New Roman"><font size="3"> órganos autónomos que facilitan
la participación social en la gestión municipal, además de ejercer el control
y ser los portavoces de las necesidades, demandas y propuestas del barrio
ante las autoridades nacionales y municipales.<br>
Los concejales trabajan honorariamente y son representantes de organizaciones
sociales, religiosas, culturales o deportivas. Entre sus funciones se encuentra
la elaboración de proyectos y planes para mejorar los barrios y asesorar
a las Juntas Locales en planes para la zona, estableciendo prioridades.
Participan en la elaboración del presupuesto municipal, proponiendo las
prioridades de gastos e inversiones que realiza <st1:PersonName
productid="la Intendencia" w:st="on">la Intendencia</st1:PersonName> y evaluando
la gestión. Trabajan por la inclusión social a través de la solidaridad
y cooperación con los sectores más vulnerables de Montevideo. También organizan
y promueven actividades culturales, sociales y deportivas, así como cooperan
en el cuidado de los espacios públicos.<br>
Los Concejos Vecinales participan en la organización y evaluación del
Presupuesto Participativo y deciden directamente dónde gastar una parte
de los recursos municipales. Además proponen, cuando se elabora el Presupuesto
Quinquenal, las prioridades barriales para los gastos e inversiones que

del Frente Amplio, que se realizan el próximo domingo 12 de noviembre de

style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;">¿Por qué votar en las internas
del FA del 12 de noviembre?</span></b><br>
<font face="Times New Roman" size="3"> En el marco del sano ejercicio
de la democracia interna, el Frente Amplio pone a consideración de sus adherentes
la elección de sus autoridades, integrantes del Plenario Nacional y Departamental.
Como un hecho inédito en la historia de nuestro país, un partido de gobierno
realiza una elección interna antes de completar la mitad de su mandato.<br>
<span style=""> </span>El domingo 12 de noviembre, la fuerza política
que gobierna el país y ocho departamentos, elegirá sus organismos de decisión:
el Plenario Nacional y los Plenarios Departamentales correspondientes a
cada uno de los 19 departamentos.<br>
<span style=""> </span>Esto significa un enorme desafío y constituye
un hecho político. Debemos concurrir masivamente a votar porque a nuestro
gobierno de izquierda sólo lo apoya y lo controla un pueblo organizado. El
Frente Amplio está definido como coalición-movimiento. La coalición está
constituida por los diversos sectores políticos y el movimiento se compone
con los militantes de base, que pueden integrar grupos políticos o ser independientes.<br>

style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;">¿Quiénes pueden votar?</span></b><br>
<font face="Times New Roman"><font size="3"> Toda persona mayor de 14
años de edad que adhiera en el momento de votar, y los que ya están adheridos
al Frente Amplio.<br>
Los votantes pueden elegir a la vez</font><span
style="font-size: 10pt;"> UNA LISTA</span><font size="3"> presentada por
los sectores, y nombres presentado por las</font><span
style="font-size: 10pt;"> BASES </span></font><font

Es el organismo de dirección permanente del Frente Amplio integrado por
representantes de los grupos políticos y delegados de los organismos de
base.<br>
Está compuesto por 170 representantes de los cuales: 85 Representantes
de las Bases -41 por Montevideo, 41 del Interior y 3 del exterior- (Los
comités de base propusieron nombres a ser votados); 85 Representantes de
Sectores Políticos (se vota por lista).</font></p>

face="Times New Roman" size="3"> <b style="">Plenarios departamentales</b>:
Son los organismos de dirección permanente del Frente Amplio en cada departamento

elector marca los que prefiere ( como máximo 3 en Montevideo) dentro de
su Coordinadora.<br>
<b style="">Plenario Departamental de Canelones</b>: 104 integrantes
(52 Representantes de las Bases -por 13 Zonales de Canelones) y 52 Representantes
de Sectores Políticos.<br>
