<BR> El Instituto de Meteorología emitió una advertencia
de nivel Naranja por una ola de calor que afectará al país al menos hasta el
miércoles 28 inclusive.<BR>Los departamentos afectados son Artigas, Salto,
Paysandú, Río Negro, Soriano, Tacuarembó, Durazno, Flores y
Florida.<BR> Se esperan altas sensaciones térmicas,
temperaturas mínimas iguales o superiores a los 22ºC y máximas de entre 37ºC y
39ªC.<BR> Durante el lunes y martes se pueden registrar
temperaturas por encima de los 39ºC.<BR> El llamado de
atención finaliza a las 12 del mediodía del miércoles 28 de
enero.<BR> El resto del país (Rivera, Cerro Largo,
Treinta y Tres, Lavalleja, Rocha, Maldonado, Colonia, San José, Canelones y
Montevideo) se encuentra bajo alerta Amarilla por el mismo

tereré<BR></FONT></STRONG> El tereré (palabra de origen
guaraní) es una bebida tradicional oriunda del Paraguay, de amplio consumo en el
mismo país, en el noreste argentino, en el este y norte de Bolivia y en algunos
estados brasileños, y muchos uruguayos lo preparan en el verano.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial> Para los que no están
acostumbrados, a los efectos de refrescasrse, no es necesario agregarle
nada a la yerba natural que se toma en Uruguay, quizás sólo alguna yerba
compuesta y si tiene menta, más refrescante. Se prepara igual que el mate
caliente, dejando hinchar la yerba primero, etc. No confundir con el "mate
cocido" helado...</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial> En las regiones que lo practican
desde siempre, la preparación del Tereré consistente en una mezcla de agua fría
y hierbas refrescantes machacadas (o simplemente con yerba mate), las cuales se
ceban en un recipiente que contiene yerba mate. Como hierbas (refrescantes y/o
medicinales) suelen emplearse el cedrón (Lippia citriodora), la menta peperina o
menta'i y otros yuyos. Se diferencia del mate "común" (en guaraní: ka'ay,-suena
ca-aɨ-, donde ka'a es yerba, e y es agua) en que éste último se prepara con agua
caliente.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial> En la practica, la yerba mate es
puesta en maceración al cebar con agua fría (o agua con hielo), lo que
proporciona una bebida agradable por su efecto refrescante, especialmente en
jornadas con altas temperaturas, permitiendo el consumo de la yerba mate sin
necesidad de recurrir al agua caliente. </FONT><A
