cumplen 11 años de la muerte del General Seregni (31 de julio de 2004). Para los
compañeros de “Carpintería” no es una fecha cualquier, ni un año más. Significa
la renovación de un compromiso en la defensa del Frente Amplio a quien Liber
Seregni le dedicó una parte de su vida.<BR> El FA es, en
parte importante, producto de su visión estratégica, de su firme decisión en la
búsqueda de un camino propio para la izquierda uruguaya. Esa decisión está
basada en su indeclinable defensa de la Constitución en toda circunstancia, en
los principios democráticos que caracterizaron el pensamiento de Artigas,
en la libre determinación “de los pueblos”, por aquello de que la “soberanía”
reside en su seno.<BR> Seregni nos enseño, en diciembre
de 1989, antes que Tabaré asumiera como Intendente de Montevideo, que lo
primero que debíamos hacer era prepararnos para la defensa del gobierno
municipal, de NUESTRO gobierno.<BR> General NO tenemos
dudas que el primer deber de los frenteamplistas sigue siendo defender a
NUESTROS gobiernos, dar la batalla pública , HABLAR con la gente, decir de
nuestros aciertos, razonar sobre las medidas que se adopten y ESCUCHARLA, para
hacer posible la autocrítica cuando
