Warm Greetings! I trust both of you are well and hope we have a lot of
encouraging responses to the call for action on 8 March. Our own plans here
too seem to be shaping up well, I hope you received the update that i had
sent you earlier.

This is to let you know that the integration of the FTF & CYTF agendas in
the national and regional GCAP coalitions has been taken on board as an
agenda in the upcoming Asia GCAP meeting (which Chona is also
co-ordinating). Accordingly the CYTF (Anish, Amil, Hellen and other friends)
is now working towards a terms of reference for national and regional
representation to the CYTF, to help us to determine how best we can
associate with the agenda and activities of Children and Youth within GCAP.

Would the FTF would also be interested to develop a similar terms of
reference for national and regional coalitions - infact Chona had made a
special mention of this in our Nairobi meet - which would help people like
myself take this up within our national coalitions and also guide us on the
regional linkages that can be developed with the FTF. I am sure you will be
hard pressed for time, while you are tying together the initiatives across
GCAP towards March 8th. However, I do hope we can have something before the
Asia Meeting on 12-13th March, so that this can be taken up formally within
this forum.

I am also marking this to our friends at Civicus, who may be able to offer
more information and help on this effort to build greater synergies between
the thematic groups of GCAP with the operational efforts of the national /
regional coalitions.
