queridas amigas, (español abajo)

we are approaching the 8 of March and have several challenges ahead. The main one being the preparation of the texts for the letters/posters/postcards that GCAP constituency will be sending to their respective governments, relevant organisations in their countries, etc. We really need ALL OF YOU to prepare those texts that are relevant for your respective countries and regions. The deadline for this was the 22 of February, so we are already almost a week behind. The Mobilisation task force is constantly asking Rosa and I get constant requests from the IFT for these texts. As a team we really need to contribute otherwise it is very difficult to keep the global work alive. And this is a crucial time, as it is the first time that GCAP will be mobilising around the 8 of March. 
What we need is:
- the text for the postcards, with demands, proposals, etc. in relation to gender equality and poverty eradication (We are providing the framework with the background of the brochure, I am trying to convert it into Word - it´s now in pdf and will send them to you as soon as it is ready, but you do not need to wait, you can send the text already)
- the list of activitities in your region so that it can be posted in the site and coalitions can support those activities.

And that´s all! As you see, it´s not much. But we need it URGENTLY!!! 
Some of you have sent information that is useful of activities that have taken place and mentioned that other activities are coming. To post it in the website we need a summary of that. Please send all this information this week!!!!!

Nos estamos acercando al 8 de marzo y tenemos varios desafíos. El principal es la preparación de los textos para las cartas/posters/tarjetas que el conjunto de GCAP va a enviar a sus gobiernos, organizaciones relevantes en sus países, etc. Realmente necesitamos que TODAS USTEDES preparen esos textos que serán relevantes para vuestros respectivos países y regiones. La fecha límite que teníamos para esto era el 22 de febrero, es decir que estamos casi una semana atrasadas. El grupo de movilización le pregunta constantemente a Rosa y a mí me pregunta la gente del EFI dónde están esos textos. Como equipo debemos trabajar en conjunto si no se hace muy difícil mantener un trabajo de carácter global. Y este además es un momento muy importante en la medida que es la primera vez que GCAP se va a movilizar en torno al 8 de marzo.
Lo que necesitamos es:
- el texto para las tarjetas, con demandas, propuestas, etc. en relación con la igualdad de género y la erradicación de la pobreza (nosotras vamos a aportar el marco, es decir el fondo sobre el que irá ese texto que son los folletos ya preparados. Estoy tratando de convertirlos de pdf a word y se los mandaré apenas los tenga, pero no tienen que esperar, ya pueden enviar los textos).
- la lista de actividades en vuestras regiones para que las podamos colgar del sitio web y las coaliciones respectivas puedan sumarse y apoyar.

Y eso es todo!!! Com ven, no es mucho, pero lo necesitamos URGENTEMENTE!
Algunas de ustedes han mandado informacion de actividades que se organizaron y mencionaron que otras se están planificando, pero necesitamos que escriban una síntesis de manera de colgarlo en el sitio web. Por favor envíen toda la información esta semana!!!
