Dear all , 

The GCAP climate change working group had a  tel- conference   last  Tuesday
I participated o as part of the FTF

The participants were from different parts of the world , all of them with a
wide range of experience and expertise  that  will enable strong functioning
for this group. 

A strategy for action was presented, with three streams and each of as was
nominated to support the  activities requested for each stream ( I will send
the porposal in another e mail).
But, as noted on the call, the work of this group  must be  further
strengthened in coming weeks with the integration of more people specially
from the Latin American region ( I was the only one from this region)  .
Please find attached the minutes of the telecall.  

the next phone conference will be on May 6 from 1-2pm GMT. 
 

ACTION POINTS 
Ben: To update details of members of the group and circulate to group 
Ben: To update strategic plan to reflect discussions and decision of call and
re-circulate. 
All: To send further comments on strategic plan to Ben by 18 April 
Marcela: To share information from meeting of Unions when available 
All: To send Skype contact details to Ben 
Ben to begin work for each stream and start communication between relevant
team members 
Ben to send further note relating to other areas of strategic plan 
Ben to send confirmation details for next telecall 
Sven and Atiq to send further comments on the climate change section of the
GCAP G8 messaging as soon as possible (today would be good!)
