first of all, my apologies for not being at the call this morning. I talked to Rosa and she said you had a good meeting that resulted in concrete plans. 
Some comments:
- As Rosa told you we have not yet received an answer from Oxfam Novib to the funding proposal. I called them last week and talked to Rudolf who has been in charge of our applications for the last two years. He is leaving for another position within Oxfam but promised to give us an answer within two weeks. I will write to you all as soon as we get the answer, which of course we all hope will be a positive one!!!
- About the Global Council / Foundation Board. I continue to be part of the global council and the proposal is that Rosa joins the Foundation board representing the FTF. Those of you who were at the call agreed on this. We would like to hear from those of you who could not attend the call to please let us know if you also agree. I would very much appreciate it if you can write today or tomorrow so I can write to Irfan confirming our position. 
- Rosa also told me that when talking about climate change, the proposal was put forward to create an ad hoc committee on food crisis/food security/ food sovereignty. It is an excellent idea that can bring in other women from the FTF. So I would suggest that Luisa writes to the whole list informing that we have created this committee and inviting women to join. Luisa, you can write in Spanish and send it to the Spanish list and we can translate it and send it to the English list. 
- There was no time at the call to talk about the Poverty tribunal guide. The main input for this is the experience of the tribunals held in Peru, India and Egypt. So we would very much appreciate it if Marta, Lysa and Josephine could please send us what they think are the main steps that should be included in the guide. In this way we can start giving it shape and work on the guides aiming at having them ready for September.
- Finally on climate change: thanks to Marcela for the hard work, the group is really quite active and Marcela is dedicating a lot of time to this task. It is important that if any of you has comments on the briefing Marcela has just sent us you do send them soon to the list. I do have some that I am sending in a separate message.

Primero que nada pido disculpas por no haber estado en la llamada esta mañana. Hablamos con Rosa y me comentó que fue una buena reunión que resuló en planes concretos.
Algunos comentarios:
- Como les dijo Rosa aún no hemos recibido respuesta de Oxfam Novib a la solicitud de fondos. Los llamé la semana pasada y hablé con Rudolf que ha estado a cargo del ETF durante los últimos dos años. Rudolf está cambiando de posición dentro de Oxfam y se va pronto, pero me prometió que nos dará una respuesta en dos semanas. Les escribiré apenas tengamos la respuesta que por supuesto confiamos será positiva!!!
- Sobre el Consejo global y el Foundation Board:Yo sigo integrando el consejo y la propuesta es que Rosa integre el Foundation Board representando al ETF. Las que estaban en la llamada estuvieron de acuerdo en esto. Queríamos pedirles a las que no estuvieron en la llamada que nos escriban lo más pronto posible indicando si están de acuerdo para que yo pueda escribirle a Irfan confirmando la integración de Rosa al Board. 
- Rosa también me comentó que cuando hablaron de cambio climático se propuso la creación de un comité ad hoc sobre crisis alimentaria / soberanía alimentaria. Es una idea excelente a la que se pueden sumar otras mujeres del ETF. En ese sentido te sugeriría Luisa que escribieras a la lista informando que se creó este comité y que estamos invitando a las mujeres a suamrse. Luisa, puedes escribir a la lista en español y luego lo traducimos al inglés y lo mandamos también a esa lista. 
- Sé que no dio el tiempo para hablar sobre la guía de los tribunales contra la pobreza. Los aportes principales para estas guías vendrán de las experiencas de los tribunales que ya realizamos en Perú, India y Egipto. En ese sentido les queremos pedir a Marta, Lysa y Josephine que manden los que ellas consideran son los pasos más importantes a seguir para organizar un tribunal. A partir de allí podemos ir avanzando en la elaboración de las guías que confiamos podremos tener prontas para setiembre. 
- Finalmente sobre cambio climático: gracias a Marcela por el intenso trabajo que está desarrollando en el grupo que trabaja el tema en GCAP y al que le está dedicando mucho tiempo. Es importante que le hagamos llegar comenarios al briefing que nos acaba de mandar. Yo tengo unos comentarios que voy a mandar en mensaje aparte.
