Dear friends,

Please find attached a statement to be released TODAY, Friday 15, trying to
pass an urgent message to the ongoing negotiations. If you can sign
immediately, please reply to this message and your name and organization
will be added to the signatories.

Signatures will continue to be gathered during the weekend and a new release
with the coimplete list of signatories will be published next week.

Since this is intended to be an emergency intervention we have no time to
make many adjustments to the text before releasing, but people that can
support some paragraphs of it and not others are strongly encouraged to send
out a message with those parts of the text they agree with to their
governments, the press or the different blogs and websites that are dealing
with the crises.
