My apologies if I dropped the ball. I was under the impression that consultations about the availability of the GCAP line would be done directly with Helena, as she indicated and offered on our FTF call last week, about arranging a time.  Sorry for the confusion.  I did not see your message, Marcela.  The 20th is now not a good time--too short notice.  It has been a busy week.  Let me suggest Friday, May 22nd at 1 GMT--I think this is a good time for Ana, Marcela and others in the Americas.  How is it for Pam and Josephine? Lysa? It will give us time to check on the line. 

Marcela, could you please write to Helena Suarez at helena.suarez en civicus.org, copied here, to ask if the GCAP line is available on Friday, May 22nd at 1GMT?  Please ask for details about the participant code we can use. 

Thanks, Marcela, and again, sorry for the inconvenience.  I have not only been busy with the Global Crisis Conference, I'm in California visiting my family and trying to stem the flow of email.  I will be travelling all day tomorrow to return to emails on Thursday morning.

Dear All: Unfortunately I never had any answer from Rosa on possibilities of using the GCAP phone lines  to connect with all of you.

 

Most probably Rosa is very occupied  on the FfD preparations and had no time to look to my request.

 

Therefore  the tele conference is  on hold until I have a answer from Rosa when is available the GCAP line

Dear  Ana, Lysa, Josephine , Marta and Rosa:

Following the  discussion in the last tele conference  on  the organization of a CC Tribunal in Belem do Para as well FTF posible participation   in Copenhague Conference  I would like to suggest if we can do a phone conference on 20 May al  12 GM N.Yory.

 

This will be 9 am in Uruguay ( Ana)


                 8. am in Chile ( Marcela)

                          in Cairo ( Josephine pls confirm)

                          in  India ( Lysa pls confirm )

 

I am enclosing the  proposal on Gender and Climate Change that i wrote last year for the GCAP Climate Change Working Group. It was for comments and s¿discussions but  there were no suggestions. This was also previously share with the FTF and only Rosa came with suggestiions that were included.  taking intop consideration Ana suggestion  for a concept paper  for the  CC Tribunal, I suggest that this document be use as refernce to  develop  a  basic concept paper for the Tribual, if the gropup consider that  another approach and concepts should be included.   

 

For the telephone conference I am proposing the following  Agenda :

1. Lysa presentation on the CC  Tribunal that she is organizing in Novembre

2.  Josephine presentation of her participation or activities organized  in the Africa Regional  CC meeting

3. Suggestions on how to organize a country CCtribunal. Possibilities of FTF finacing ?

4. Other  

 

The date and hour  confirmation will also depend on the availability of
the GCAP line
