Dear Pam,
dear all,
below you can find Michael's answer and my answer to him. So thanks Pam, but they are looking specifically for reps from the SENCA region. If you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know.

Dear Michael,
thanks for taking the time to answer with those explanations. I am afraid though, that for whatever reason that I do not really know, there is no one in our FTF facilitation team from the SENCA region. We used to have a representative from the Philippines, but currently all our reps in the facilitation team are from South Asia. Maybe this is something we can look at at the global assembly. Sorry that it took so long, and finally it seems that no one is attending from the FTF.
We will be talking in a while at the Global Council call, till then.
Greetings,
Ana

Hi Ana,
Thanks for your email as well as your follow up on this. I'm glad to hear that there is a response.
However, India is not part of SENCA; it's in the South Asia subregion.
The first day of our meeting is meant to be an internal caucus of SENCA constituents, so we really would like to have participants from within the SENCA region. The second and third days of the meeting are broader, but to create linkages with Korean civil society and INGOs working on G20 issues.
We have also already invited one representative from South Asia to participate as an observer. (They nominated Mr. Ram Kishan from WNTA in India.)
Are there any FTF members from within the SENCA region?
(SENCA basically consists of Asia minus South Asia. Active coalitions are in The Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, China, Japan and Korea. Australia also falls within this region, but has not been caucusing with us. A delegate could also join from other southeast Asian nations, subject to the US$500 travel budget.)
Thanks.
All the best,
Michael
p.s. Travel from New Dehli to Seoul is about US$950.

Dear Michael,
Pam Rajput from India will be able to attend. Could you please confirm if it is fine that our member from India attends? And do you know if the USD 500 you mentioned would cover her travel and accommodation costs?

Dear Michael,
I had sent the request to our members in the region, but had not received a response yet. I have sent it again and hope for an answer immediately. Sorry, but let´s hope we can finalise it today or tomorrow.

Hi Ana,
Does the FTF have a nominee to participate in the SENCA meeting?
The meeting is in just two weeks and we need to issue the delegate an invitation letter.
We've allocated up to US$500 for their travel expenses. This should hopefully cover a delegate from China, Japan, Korea and possibly The Philippines; but not Singapore or Indonesia. If they come from another country in our region that does not have a National Coalition (like Cambodia or Thailand), that's also OK (though i don't know how much plane tickets cost from those countries.)
Thanks.
All the best,
Michael

Hi Ana,
We are planning on supporting the delegate's travel and accommodation.
We'll need to confirm this though with the constituent member.
Thanks!

Hello Michael,
sorry that we do not have an answer yet.
How is it with the travel costs? Will they be covered?
I am making enquiries with our members in the region but would very much
appreciate your answer with respect to this.
Thanks!
Ana
