  GCAP´s strategic plan 2011  - 2014 has just been released.

  A key component of the plan is a continuation of our work on the climate justice hearings and the coalition of climate communities with local actions feeding in to global moments such as COP17 and Rio+20. 


  We would like to develop a specific proposal on this to submit to donors - the proposal would be a three year programme of action aimed at strengthening and visibilising local actions (communities are taking action and must be key players in the regional and global debates on climate change). 


  In order to begin to compile this proposal it would be really great to hear from you about the work you have been carrying out since the GCAP and GCAP FTF Climate Tribunals in 2009 and any planned actions you have for the next 3 years. 


  I have compiled the following questionnaire for you to complete or alternatively we could have a chat about this by phone of skype if you send me the details and the time that would be most suitable. 


  If it were possible to return the questionnaire by next Friday 25 March that would be great.

  Un componente clave del plan es la continuación de nuestro trabajo en las audienciasde justicia climática y la coalición de las comunidades afecatdas por el climático con acciones locales formando el base de incidencia en momentos internacionales claves como COP17 y Río +20.

  Nos gustaría desarrollar una propuesta concreta sobre este tema a presentar a los donantes - la propuesta sería un programa trienal de acciónes para el fortalecimiento y visibilización de las acciones locales de las comunidades (las comunidades están tomando medidas y luchando contra el cambio climatico y asi deben ser actores claves en los debates regionales y mundiales sobre el cambio climatico).

  Con el fin de comenzar a compilar esta propuesta sería muy bueno saber de ustedes y estar al tanto del  trabajo que han venido llevando a cabo desde la realizacion de las audencia de GCAP y  GCAP FTF en 2009 y sobre cualquier acción que pretendan hacer que pudimos ir incorporando en esta propuesta. 

  He compilado el cuestionario adjunto para que lo completen o, alternativamente,podríamos tener una charla acerca de esto por teléfono o Skype si  me envían  los detalles y el horario que sería lo más adecuado.

  Si fuera posible enviar me el cuestionario antes del próximo viernes 25 de marzo,sería genial!
